I left home this morning @ 6:25 am for the airport. I was hoping to be able to solo again but wasn't sure if he would let me or not with the way the weather was looking. The clouds were at 2400 feet so that was fine as we only go to 1500 feet when doing Takeoffs and landings.
I arrived at the airport 5 minutes late and as I jumped out I noticed there was basically no wind at all! I was excited as that can make a big difference in how a lesson goes. I walk out to the plane and he is there already, and he says take her out and go, I have other things to do, so your on your own! I was like ok! here we go, hope it works out! It did! My first 2 landings were nearly perfect, then for some reason after that I had trouble getting my approach right, I was always to high it seemed. Not sure why but guess its something I need to work on.
I did a total of 10 T & L's and my hour was up, so I went and parked the plane. It was a good feeling to not have flown for a week then go all by yourself from start to finish.
Next Time!

Welcome!
Hello, and welcome!
Not sure what all might show up here yet, but I have some real good Ideas so just keep checking back. You never know what you might find! Anything from flying, to just normal family life. Maybe even some good old fashioned preaching messages!
Here are a few pix from my time flying yesterday.
This is a real cool little Cessna 140 that flew in yesterday while I was up with Luke.
Taxing out to 02 for take off!
A good view of the airport.
